The annual Lemon Festival is an integral part of Upland’s tradition and has been held since the year 1997. It initially started as a small celebration of the citrus industry and over the years it has turned into a large scale event. Some highlights of the Annual Upland Lemon Festival include carnival rides, food competitions, support of local businesses, and games.

The 2018 Upland Lemon Festival was organized by The Learning Centers at Fairplex. TLC is a community based non-profit organization. The inclusion of TLC's educational programs makes the Upland Lemon Festival even better. A portion of the proceeds are forwarded to non-profit organizations in Upland by The Learning Centers at Fairplex.
