MY AMAZING JOURNEY AS BATMAN …

Here’s my story on why I turned this drab ordinary office into “My Batcave”, let’s face it, most offices really suck, so instead of the everyday, average, beige wall color, oak furniture in every room, carpet floors, depressing, standard office, I decided to create my own Batcave.

As a young boy, who didn’t love the dynamic duo? … If you just said, “Not Me”, something is wrong in your brain … LMAO!

To me, Batman is the ultimate superhero because he is just an ordinary guy that traumatized watching his parents die in front of him. So with his upbringing with Alfred, the Gotham Police Department, he began to change his true colors deciding to be unique and to do what he can to stop all crime in his city.

So this little rich kid as an adult decided to do something rather spectacular, and fight back at crime, was his methods perfect, hell no, but he got the job done without the loss (in most cases), of life and put the bad guy’s in the slammer or Arkham Asylum.

So my adventure in life has been just like Batman in many ways, I’m always putting my best foot forward, helping those who I can, being a decent person, and celebrating those who have experienced some rather difficult times in life … Am I perfect, nope.

I have recently found myself developing Christopher 2.0, this means that I have taken away “All of the fear”, that most people can’t do for some reason or another.

Life is way too short, so become your Batman, get in your Batmobile, celebrate life, fix your problems, shed the fear, move on, and don’t look back!

BATMAN COMIC BOOKS:

I have been collecting comic books since 1990, I only collect the Golden Age series of “BATMAN” because they are unique, Golden Age comic books started back in 1938, and go up in value every year.

It’s like collecting precious metals or confederate money (Like I do 😜), the older they get, especially if they are protected, and registered in “CGC” grading, the value will never go down, always up.

I currently have over 65 of the 138 total Golden Age series.

The values are quite impressive too, you can buy a nice house or a Range Rover for the cost of collecting Batman Golden Age Comic Books.

I have the #5, 11, and the 3 - I won’t rest until I have all 138 😜

The Caped Crusader has since become the most identifiable comic book character, facing countless enemies as well as struggling with the death of his parents. Batman #1 featured the first appearance of both the Joker and Catwoman, and as you can imagine, it's worth $2,600,000.00

It tells the story of his parent's death and how he came to be Batman. It went up for auction in 2013 and became the second most expensive comic book ever!

WHEN DID I THINK OF DESIGNING MY BATCAVE?:

I first got my inspiration from this wall mounted, glass statement, and you know what, it’s pretty spot on.

Throughout my journey on this planet, it just comes down to this.

#1) You have to love and trust yourself “FIRST” before you can do the same for others.

#2) You have to erase all “FEAR”, in everything you do.

#3) If you fail, get back up and try again, it just means that you are a lot closer to success than you think.

#4) Once you become successful, learn how to develop passive income.

#5) Don’t be a dick, yeah, that’s right, man up or get out!

THEN THE BAT DESIGN:

I then took that glass wall-mounted statement to my sign guy “Jeff” at Lucky Sign in Upland CA, he then took that wall-mounted statement and turned it into my Batman sign that’s mounted on the wall as you enter my office.

So Jeff and his team custom-designed my very own “Bat logo” for my wall, he then placed a very cool blue LED on the backside of the Bat logo, and “Wallah”, what a beautiful interpretation of the Bat logo!

In other words - “#BADASS” 😜

The outer glow is very prominent and looks amazing with or without the lights being on.

Of course, the walls had to be “FLAT BLACK” to properly give this wall logo the pizzaz it deserves.

THE CONSTRUCTION / MESS / PROCESS OF THE BATCAVE:

Yep, … Just like anything else, construction = messy

I love it just the same because you get to see and appreciate the entire process.

Dave had his hands full, not only did he have to make some serious wall repairs, he had to install a few electrical outlets to accommodate the LED lights behind the glass grease board, the 85” Samsung smart TV.

Dave nicely painted the walls flat black (Batman Color), and the opposite walls flat grey with a hint of purple in it (Joker Color), and then he painted the ceiling, … Who does this? 😜

So to the right, are assorted pictures of the process that Dave took part in, below will show more things going in and the final process.

WHY SO SERIOUS?:

Finally, the Joker goes up on the window today in our office (6/29/21), we love it!

Had to give this window to “Heath Ledger”, loved his work in “A Dark Knight”, it is said that he took the Joker role literally and that this was the “BEST JOKER” ever.

Heath Ledger's Joker can never be categorized and is not capable of reason, he, therefore, cannot ever be truly stopped as his effect on Gotham City can never be reversed. This is why his version is the greatest, he brought to life a villain whose effect never goes away.

Before Joker, Heath Ledger rejected Christopher Nolan’s offer to play Batman: ‘I would never take a part in a superhero film’.

Did you know that before he signed on to play the Joker in The Dark Knight, and won a posthumous Oscar for it, Heath Ledger rejected the offer to play Batman in Batman Begins?

AUTHENTIC BATMAN ACTOR MEMORABILIA WITH COA:

Everything from Bob Cane (The original artist of Batman Golden Age comic books), Val Kilmer, Christian Bale, Alicia Silverstone, Jim Carey, George Clooney, and even Hans Zimmer, composer of “A Dark Knight” has made it to my wall, all of these pictures have been authenticated with “Certificate of Authenticity” PSA/DNA certified, some of the signers like Bert Ward, and Adam West from the original Batman series had to give a little blood to authenticate their signature opportunities … Crazy Right? 😜

So, … Here are a few of my favorite autographed movie pictures of some of the greatest actors in the Batman franchise.

They reside right behind me where I sit, and every once-in-a-while I turn around to take a peek and enjoy them.

THE BATCAVE PROJECT BOARD GOES IN:

Today, the Batcave project board gets installed, this black grease board is being placed on the wall across from me so that we can talk about new incoming projects, projects in progress, and just plain brainstorming.

Everyone needs a project board in their office.

What makes this one so special is that it’s gloss black, glass, magnetic, uses “Neon Colored Markers”, and we are going to “Back Light” this project board with multi-colored LED lights (Comes with a remote so we can change the colors at a whim).

Sounds like “Joker Colors” … Of course 😎

Well, because it’s in the Batcave, we had to keep the same motif in play to accentuate the Batman theme.

THE BATCAVE SAMSUNG 85” BAT-MONITOR:

No CEO’s office is complete without installing their very own Bat-Monitor right?

Here she is, the Samsung 8000 series Bat-Monitor with Google Chrome attached to the back.

My friends at Best Buy in Montclair (Geek Squad), came out today to install the Bat-Monitor, this is the monitor that will play the Bat Theme video listed above constantly until summoned to do some good work for the Dynamic Duo, like watching Netflix, VUDU, Disney+, Amazon Prime, or Samsung TV (You know the important stuff), … LMAO

Now we can look other jobs going in on a “BIG SCALE” without having to strain our eyes … 😜

THE LITTLE TOUCHES THAT MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE:

You know when you are working on a project and you want it to look as authentic as possible, it’s all those little touches that make all the difference, the little custom touches that really enhance your project and your guest’s experience.

In this case, it’s the …

1) Gloss black wall switches and plugs.
2) The Batman logo on the back of my BIG computer.
3) The Batman stickers throughout the office.
4) The LED lights behind the gloss black grease board.
5) The Bat-signal that projects up on the wall.
6) Batman stickers on equipment boxes, laptops.
7) Batman Coffee Cups, Mouse Pads.
8) And of course on the CEO’s front door.

Someone asked me last week if I just took random pictures of my Batcave, and the answer is “YES”, every good artist takes multiple shots regardless (to get that perfect shot) so they can go through their archives later to bring out that unique picture that fits well inside of a project they are working on.

BATMAN GOES ON - 9/1/2021 @ DARK HEARTS IN FONTANA:

My Batman Tattoo journey begins!

Well, round #1 is complete, David Palacios at Dark Hearts in Fontana California did Batman and me proud today!

Almost seven hours in the chair of “Not so hard” preparation, outlining, and tattooing came to a success.

David is an amazing tattoo artist, layout, shading, and coloring are the best, color is complete, not more enhancements on 11/24/21.

Now let’s go work on the left arm sleeve, … Yep, this one will have a “Horror Theme” all over it, … WHAT? See Below 😎

Stop the press, I have decided to dedicate my left leg to “Greek Mythology Gods”, and nothing Horror … Why?

Because I believe that Greek gods are badass, they have a significant history, and that stone look is amazing.

Look what I tattooed on my left ankle/calf area on 1/8/22

And … It HURT like crazy!!! 😭

Well, … I am glad you asked 😎

In my spare time amongst all the brain-swelling things that I have to do on a daily basis, I love to …

1) Fly my power kites, skeleton kites, and my MASSIVE trilobite kites.
2) Cinematography with DRONE9 using my drones and cameras.
3) Enhancing the businesses I currently own, making a better box.
4) Doing our PodCast - The Energy Hour Podcast.
5) Working with a website I have owned for years - Virtual Santa.
6) Scuba Diving at Catalina Island, Laguna Beach, or wherever I can.
7) Watch movies or documentaries on Netflix, VUDU, or at the movies.

What would I like to do before my time runs out?

1) Travel the world, and visit some amazing countries.
2) To be at peace with myself, doing nothing on at a beach, being silent.

A rather small bucket list right?

My new 2022 Tesla was delivered in April, and it was a new experience for sure, the POWER, and handling is second to none, I don’t think I will ever buy a fuel vehicle ever again unless it’s a rocket. 🤣

Made a few enhancements, I tinted all the windows with XPel ceramic window tint, except for the ceiling, I used the tesla sun shade for that, and it does an amazing job at stopping lots of that summer heat.

Installed some PPE “clear coating on the sides, and front area to avoid rocks that kick up that could damage the paint.

Installed the rubber floor mats, they feel better and work when the floor gets dirty, easy to take out, clean, and re-install.

Installed some creative caliper covers - I wanted to use the Batman symbol but decided not to.

The last thing I will do is wrap it with a flat black with a Batman theme, it will truly be one of a kind - Stay tuned!

SO WHO SITS IN THAT BIG BLACK COMFORTABLE CHAIR?:

Me, … I’m not tall dark, or handsome, just a humble guy who wants to do good for anyone he can to make a difference in their lives, to deliver a smile that enhances someone’s day, to mentor a newbie getting into business, showing them all of the ropes.

I learned many great things as a Police Officer back in the ’90s, and yearned to keep people safe as Batman does.

I work long and hard hours helping customers one at a time, 365 days a year, I rarely take time out for myself or ask anyone who knows me.

Not much to add, it’s just me.
